New Arrivals
Jolene had 4 little girls on October 20th. I'd like to be up front that I plan to keep one back and may need more than 6 weeks to evaluate the puppies to determine which one will stay with me. These puppies will be ready to go home after January 12th, once they've received their 3rd round of vaccines. I like to keep them until they are 12 weeks old so they will adjust better in their new homes. Two out of three of my adult dogs came home after the 12 week old mark and I found that they were less prone to being nippy, easier to complete potty training, and slept better through the night. Also, keeping them until their 3rd round of vaccines means that their new homes will only have to get their final vaccines and the puppies will have a slightly better immunity than those who go home at 8 weeks with typically only one set of vaccines.
